Elders Valentines Celebration Brings Happiness And Love

Valentine’s Day is back! Loving joy filled the halls of the Administration on Aging building during a celebration for elders 60 and older. Participants arrived to sign in and were served a delicious Italian spaghetti meal with tasty treats and a chocolate fountain for dipping fruit and marshmallows. Director Wyndi Caraker and her team of Tribal coworkers catered to the guests then Wyndi hosted a game of Bingo where several winners hand-selected great prizes!

Native American Choctaw artist DG Smalling​ honors Delaware Nation once again through his incredible fine art skills with an illustration of the Wolf featured in the design of Coaquannock in acrylic. Broadband Internet Subsidy Available For 1,000 Delaware Nation Households

To subsidize Broadband Internet Service for approximately 1,000 Delaware Nation households up to the 100% medium income level for two years. A $65 monthly payment to Tribal households will be dispersed in a 6-month payment. With validation of 3 months of paid internet bills, an additional 18-month payment can be issued to the same household.

All the tribes have their own traditions and beliefs. American Indian Citizenship Day celebrates their contribution to the country’s culture and is a reminder of their enduring legacy.
