HIGHER EDUCATION PROGRAM | |
Description: | This program is for enrolled Delaware Nation citizens that are interested in obtaining an undergraduate (Associates or Bachelors) degree from an accredited institution. |

Description: | This program is for Delaware enrolled citizens that need short-term training to obtain/enhance job skills or to acquire a General Education Diploma (GED). |

DIRECT EMPLOYMENT | |
Description: |
Delaware Nation Direct Employment Assistance Program provides a small stipend to enrolled Delaware Tribal citizens that have gained new employment. The job must be a full time position. This is a one-time only assistance per fiscal year. The stipend is for gas and lunch for work until first full paycheck is received. |
Award: |
Applicants with dependents will receive $25 per working day, applicants with no dependents will receive $20 per working day, with a max of 10 days. Program funds will be available on a first come, first served basis. |

TRIBAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM | |
Description: |
The Tribal Assistance Program is a general welfare assistance program. The application period begins October 1st and ends September 30th. This program operates on a first come first serve basis depending on availability of funds. Tribal citizens are eligible for this program once per fiscal year. |

ASSISTANCE: Tribal citizens must choose only one of the below listed options per fiscal year.
Unapproved grocery purchases include: makeup, jewelry, perfume, hair products, tobacco and alcohol products. Applicants are required to submit receipt for items purchased.
Tribal citizen must be 18 years old or older to receive utility assistance and attach a utility bill in the tribal citizen’s name. Be aware when submitting cut off notices for utilities: it will take 7-10 business days before a check will be mailed to utility vendor. Delaware Nation is not responsible for disconnections, late fees or reconnect fees. HEALTH:

LIHEAP assists with cooling in the summer and heating in the winter. COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (CSBG) | |
Description: | This small grant provides one elder activity and one youth activity once a year. |

Elders have a choice of:
The CSBG gives these items on a first come first serve basis. The youth activity is held usually the 1st or 2nd week in August during the American Indian Exposition in Anadarko, Oklahoma. The American Indian Exposition is a six day event that is held (Monday-Saturday). The Delaware Nation CSBG program purchases fair bracelets for enrolled Delaware children ages 3-12 years old that attend the American Indian Exposition carnival. The bracelets are given on a first come first serve basis. |
Burial Assistance Program | |
Description: |
Delaware Nation provides burial assistance for enrolled tribal citizens or those minors eligible to be enrolled (and not enrolled in any other tribe) up to $10,000. Eligibility must be determined by the enrollment department. Payment will be made directly to the funeral home selected. Assistance is for burial expenses and/or marker or monument. BURIAL ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE: 1. PREPAID BURIAL ASSISTANCE: A tribal citizen (age 60 or over) or diagnosed with a terminal illness, may obtain assistance to purchase an irrevocable contract burial plan with a funeral home of their choice. College Prep Assistance Program |

The Delaware Nation College Prep Assistance Program is pleased to offer enrolled Delaware Nation tribal citizens in grades 10th-12th an opportunity to receive assistance with the cost of ACT/SAT Test Prep. Students may receive up to $100 assistance towards the cost of classes (including online courses). All payments will be made directly to the test prep vendor. Cost cannot be reimbursed. |

The Dental Assistance Program is a General Welfare Assistance program for Delaware Nation enrolled citizens (age 0-59) who need assistance with any dental services not covered by Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance or Indian Health Services. This program will be available to tribal citizens one-time per fiscal year up to $1,000. This program WILL NOT pay for medical bills or past due balances. All dental procedures must be performed by a licensed dental practice and within the fiscal year you are applying for. |
Payment Process: | For invoices submitted but have not yet been paid for or services not yet completed, payment will be made directly to the dental practice. If seeking reimbursement, invoices show the out of pocket payment made. |

The Prescription Assistance Program is a General Welfare Assistance program for Delaware Nation enrolled citizens (age 0-59) who need assistance with purchasing prescribed medications and durable medical equipment (including copays) that are not covered by Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance or Indian Health Services. This program will be available to tribal citizens one-time per fiscal year up to $500. This program WILL NOT pay for medical bills or cover cost associated with medicinal/recreational marijuana. All prescription medications or durable medical equipment must be prescribed by a licensed physician. |
