Delaware Nation Social Services Department is accepting applications for the Tribal Assistance Program. As some of you may have already noticed, the application is different this year. The EC voted to increase the food option to $150 due to the rising cost of food. The utility and glasses option have not changed. The application is available on the Delaware Nation website www.delawarenation-nsn.gov or can be emailed, mailed, or faxed upon request. You may submit completed applications via email (spitner@delawarenation-nsn.gov, ismith@delawarenation-nsn.gov, bvillalba@delawarenation-nsn.gov), mail (PO Box 825 Anadarko, OK 73005) or fax (405-247-5942).

For those returning students, all supportive documentation for the Spring 2022 semester must be submitted to the Education Program no later than January 31, 2022. Failure to do so will result in no funding for the Spring 2022 semester. This includes the College Financial Assistance Application. Students please be prepared by keeping up-to-date with deadlines!! All current students should have received an email and/or letter requesting the needed documentation for the upcoming semester. If you did not receive, please contact Brenda Villalba, bvillalba@delawarenation-nsn.gov (405)247-2448 ext. 1153, to ensure we have your updated contact information.

The Social Services Department is now accepting applications for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Funding is now available! All program guidelines can be found on the application and online at our website under the Family and Social Services page. Those who qualify are also eligible to receive assistance for their water utility from the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP). You may apply for these programs together on one application or separately if you choose to only utilize one. Please be sure to read all the guidelines regarding eligibility. Applicants must reside in the Delaware Nation LIHEAP Grant service area.
