Dear Delaware Nation Citizens,

Pursuant to Article 7 Section 5 of the Delaware Nation Constitution, and Section 401 K of the Delaware Nation Election Ordinance, the election of Committee Person #2 was canceled as the position was unopposed.

Michael McLane has been officially elected as Committee Member #2 without opposition.

The election of Vice-President and Secretary will continue as planned on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Delaware Nation Tribal Complex in Anadarko, OK. We hope to see you there!

ANADARKO, OK — Choctaw Nation artist DG Smalling painted an incredible illustration of the Turtle concept used on the historic map that displays the Philadelphia region known as Coaquannock, “Grove of Tall Pines” as first seen by the settlers and confirms the existence of the Delaware people before contact. Mr. Smalling presented the illustration to Delaware Nation’s Executive Committee during their duly called meeting on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Tribal President Deborah Dotson and each member of the Executive Committee autographed Mr. Smalling’s fine art! Vice President Michael McLane captured the masterpiece for everyone to see!
