OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Many joined together for the annual Red Earth Parade on Saturday, October 16, in Oklahoma City. Amid the skyscrapers of downtown, this Grand Parade kicked off a day of celebration with an explosion of tribal culture featuring dancers, tribal leaders, floats, princesses, and entries by Oklahoma tribes and cultural organizations from throughout Oklahoma.

Parade lineup began at 8:00 AM and the parade started at 10:00 AM traveling south from NW 6th St on Walker Ave to Reno ending at the Myriad Gardens for Red Earth’s newest event – FallFest.

President Deborah Dotson attended the parade in a 2018 Ford Mustang GT, provided by Big Red Sports & Imports, chauffeured by Security Officer Kenneth Albertson.

Red Earth, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that promotes the traditions of American Indian arts and cultures through education, a premier festival, a museum and fine art markets.
