ANADARKO, OK — In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, Delaware Nation Administration on Aging (AOA) & the Community Health Representative (CHR) joined forces to host a successful Health event for the Fall season, in the AOA building within the Tribal complex, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (CST).

The purpose of the event was to inform citizens about the benefits available through Medicare Part D, Low Income Subsidy, Medicare Savings Program & Medicare prevention benefits, and screenings.

Participants were welcome to come and go as they pleased & there were lots of prizes and snacks available to them! Those that completed the 1K Health Walk received a goodies bag and t-shirt! Wanìshi to Wichita & Affiliated Tribes, Lawton IHS, Navigating through Medicare, Cheyenne & Arapaho CHR Program, and everyone who arrived in the name of good health for a fun and educational community event!
