ANADARKO, OK — On Tuesday, March 30 at 11:00 A.M., Lenape Police Department’s Officer Scott was sworn in under oath by B.I.A. chief of police Michael Longhat to receive his law enforcement commission as a tribal officer, witnessed by the Executive Committee.
Lenape Police Department makes Delaware Nation the first tribe on the western side of Oklahoma to have Officers cross-deputized with BIA, which will expand Lenape Police Department’s jurisdiction. Congratulations to Officer Scott and wanìshi to Chief Longhat!
