Attention Delaware Nation Citizens. Pursuant to the Delaware Nation Election Ordinance and Constitution, a call for election will be issued within ten (10) calendar days, thereafter. The filing period will begin on Monday, January 9th, 2023, at 8:00 A.M., and end on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023 at 5:00 P.M.

Persons wishing to file as candidates must do so by filing a Notice of Candidacy with the Delaware Nation Election Committee at P.O. Box 850 Anadarko, OK 73005. This must be postmarked during the ten (10) calendar day filing period to be considered eligible. The Notice of Candidacy form is available online at www.delawarenation-nsn.gov or can be obtained by picking up a packet up at the Delaware Nation Administration Building.

The office to be filled, the term of the office, and the filing fee is as follows:

The above-listed filing fee shall accompany the Notice of Candidacy Form with a CASHIERS CHECK OR MONEY ORDER (NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED) made payable to The Delaware Nation Election Committee to be deposited by the Tribal Finance Officer into the Delaware Tribal treasury. ALL FILING FEES WILL BE NON-REFUNDABLE, regardless of the election results or disqualification of candidates.
