On August 2, 2019, Delaware Nation Social Services hosted the Annual Back To School Bash. The Social Service Department would like to thank everyone who was able to attend the annual Back to School Bash. This year the Social Services Department provided 100 backpacks filled with school supplies to, enrolled or eligible for enrollment, Delaware Nation children Pre-K thru 12th grade. Those who attended also received items from the Delaware Nation Indian Child Welfare, EPA Department and Vocational Rehabilitation. Along with the school supplies, the Delaware Nation’s Community Service Block Grant and the Child Care and Development Fund purchased and distributed 75 vouchers for the American Indian Exposition fair to Delaware Nation youth ages 4-13. The annual Back to School Bash is an event we look forward to every year and we want to thank everyone who contributed to make the afternoon a success. We wish all the children a happy and safe school year!!!
